ACCOMMODATION:
Five en-suite bedrooms and two family units, have an ambience of tranquillity and style, with private patio’s overlooking a lush tropical garden and pool. Each unit has its own private entrance, en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with M-Net, heaters, fans and hairdryers, all designed to ensure ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Guest can also relax in a lovely “Out of Africa” guest lounge and sip a complimentary sherry next to the fireplace. Perfect for cold winter nights.

DINING:
English or Continental breakfasts are served in the relaxed setting of a large dining room, which offers a view of the tropical garden and pool. Gavin is the chef and prepares a breakfast that is guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning taste!

Home-cooked evening meals are available by prior arrangement. An indoor and outdoor braai facility, as well as a fully equipped kitchen is available for those who prefer the self-catering option.

This Guest House is conveniently located to explore the many malaria free safari private game reserves as well as the Addo National Park . We are also in close proximity to the pristine beaches of the Sunshine Coast such as Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred.

For the weary traveller …we are a suitably situated half way between Cape Town and Durban and 621km from Bloemfontein.

Nanaga Guest House is a bed and breakfast with a difference. There are three spacious en-suite rooms and a full South African breakfast or other treats can be enjoyed at the Nanaga Farm Stall.

The lovely old Mountain View Country Inn is situated in the middle of a picturesque town, surrounded by the breathtaking Witteberg Mountains and pristine wild Trout rivers.

Apart from being the ideal stop-over for Tiffendell (ski-resort) and super low family rates, it is an interesting place to discover and we can advise you on self-guided short trips or organize group activity packages, guides, day trips, workshops etc. to suit your requirements. There is nothing pretentious about the Victorian style Inn. Rooms are decorated in different themes with love and care without being frilly or lacey. Mother Goose B&B is loctaed 15 kilometers West of Port Elizabeth and offers total peace and tranquility of country life. For this reason we do notaccept children under the age of 10yrs. Only minutes away from the beautiful Blue Horizon Bay beaches.

Molweni Private Game Reserve is situated in one of the most beautiful and historically interesting parts of our country – South Africa. This area of the Eastern Cape, about 240 km from Port Elizabeth and 5km from Adelaide, lies in the foothills of the Great Winterberg mountains. Millbrook House is a lovely Victorian home offering Bed & Breakfast accommodation, a lovely warm atmosphere and personalised service in the heart of Port Elizabeth.

ACCOMMODATION
Lyndhurst Guest Cottage is a beautiful two bedroom guest cottage with its bright interior and cosy charm, which will have you, feeling right at home from the moment you step through the front door. The cottage has two bedrooms, which have stunning views across the pineapple lands, over the valley to the coast. Both bedrooms are fully carpeted and have built in cupboards. The main bedroom has a queensize bed and the second bedroom has two extra length single beds and a standard size single bed. Hairdryers, heaters, radio alarms and safes for your personal belongings are located in both bedrooms. All our beds have quality bed linen, and our guests are pampered with luxurious embroidered bath sheets, hand towels and their own toiletries. The cottage has a combined lounge / dining room and adjoining kitchenette that is fully equipped and is serviced daily. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided on arrival. A barbecue and seating area for those sultry summer evening braais can be found at the back of the cottage or if you prefer a gas braai is available on the veranda of the pool house. Children are not forgotten at Lyndhurst. PORT ALFRED:

Port Alfred is rapidly becoming one of South Africa’s premier holiday destinations and is at the “ heart “ of the Sunshine Coast, midway between Port Elizabeth and East London on the R72. The pristine sandy white beaches stretch for miles on either side of the Kowie River and offer safe swimming, lovely long walks, great surfing or laid back sun-bathing. The river, which is tidal and is navigable for 29 kms, is a paradise for boating, bird watching, water-skiing and fishing. Deep sea anglers and scuba divers can charter trips at the harbour.

The Royal Port Alfred Golf Club is close by whilst the challenging Fish River Country Club Golf Estate is a 15 minute drive away. The Eastern Cape is malaria free and there are a number of wonderful game parks in the vicinity, some home to the Big 5. Hikers and horse riders are also well catered for.

Lazy Haven

This place is something unique in my experience! Colleen and Joe have taken a farm and turned it into an excellent naturist resort. The only problem is that it’s not well enough known. 

Lazy Haven has 4 self-catering suites and 2 self-catering cottages for up to 4 persons. B&B is also possible. 

The natural surroundings are wonderful. There are 160 hectares of grazing land for cattle and antelope, with walking trails and a little wooded stream crossing the property. All this is naturist. There are gardens and sunning areas, and the central feature of the landscaping is a natural spring by the lodge, with wildlife and fishing, and swimming for experienced swimmers. 

Indoors there is a large, enclosed, heated spa pool, lounges and colour TV in all bedrooms. Like all South Africa, there are braai (barbecue) facilities. Lazy Haven offers secure parking, and office facilities for business people visiting the East London area. 

Lazy Haven is just off the ‘Sunshine Coast’ highway of the Eastern Cape, about 30 km from the city of East London, with an airport 15 minutes away. It is ideally situated for a stop on the popular tourist route from Johannesburg via Durban and the Garden Route to Cape Town. 

It is 6 km from the village of Kidd’s Beach, with local facilities and fine beaches, and a short walk north takes you to isolated stretches where you can do discreet skinny-dipping and sunbathing. 

The area probably has the best climate in South Africa for year-round naturism, warm in summer and mild in winter. It does not have the summer humidity of Durban, or the cold winters of Johannesburg and Cape Town. The coastal area has the highest sunshine hours of any South African coast, averaging about 7 - 8 hours a day throughout the year. 

Coming to Lazy Haven on the drive from Cape Town I felt I had returned to the real Africa, after the very ‘Mediterranean’ feel of the Cape and the Garden Route. Tourist attractions within a few hours drive include game lodges and nature reserves, mountains and forest trails up to about 2000 metres (with snow in winter), the ’Wild Coast’ of Transkei and the shopping centres and other facilities of East London. I am told that the beaches at East London are noted for surfing, diving and fishing. The area is entirely free of malaria, but there is a risk of sharks!

(Cottage No 2) has a double bed with an extra bunk bed in it for guest with children. It is the only cottage with its own fully equipped kitchen, should you maybe want to do self-catering. The bathroom is en-suite with large shower, toilet and basin. 

“The Bushuck Cottage”
(Cottage No 3) is a double room with en-suite wet room (huge shower). All the cottages have a lovely view, and from the patio’s you can see guinea fowl and farm animals in the fields and enjoy the calm of the Eastern Cape sunsets.

“The Kudu Cottage”
(Cottage 4) is also a Double room, with king size bed, the cottage also has a spacious en-suite bathroom with large shower, and as all the other cottages, gives you enough space, to ensure a very comfortable stay.

For the bird lover, you can visit the Nukakamma Canoe trail (26 km), and do bird watching from a Canoe on the Sundays River, or take a walk along the beach at Colchester and see the beautiful moving sand dunes of the Eastern Cape.  The Woody Cape Nature reserve and forest close to Alexandria (part of the Greater Addo) is also a gem to visit for the Nature Enthusiast.
