Description:A 17 day safari around Uganda visiting taking in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lakes Mburu and Bunyoni, Kibale and Jinja. Budget accommodation. No gorilla trek.
Days 1,2 & 3
Arrive Entebbe Airport. Met and greeted by one of our representatives. Transfer to Sophie’s Motel in Entebbe, BB.Depart early morning driving southwestwards, with a stop at the equator, to Lake Mburo National Park. This is the only park in Uganda with an entire lake, from which it derives its name. Game drive and canoe ride on Lake Mburo. Dinner and overnight at the Rwonyo Camp, FB.

Early wake up for a game drive. Back to the camp for breakfast. After lunch, take a walk to nearby the salt lick where there is an observation point to view different animal species unnoticed by the animals. Overnight at the Rwonyo Camp, FB.
Days 4 & 5- Lake Bunyoni
Depart after breakfast to Lake Bunyonyi and Bushara Island, where you will overnight, FB.

Bushara Island Camp is a popular facility on Lake Bunyonyi (Lake of the Little Birds). The first of its kind, the camp is a stopover to and from Gorilla tours, a bird watcher’s haven, and a private place for retreats. This small island is peaceful, safe, natural, and particularly intriguing to day-visitors and families, and a special hide-out for the weary traveller. The perfect location to get away from it all, Bushara Island is a wonderful place to relax in nature. The green hills and papyrus swamps offer many opportunities for birdwatching and Eucalyptus trees provide quiet place to sit and read a book.

Day Five – You will enjoy either swimming, birdwatching or island hopping from Bushara Island today. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island Camp, FB.
Days 6, 7 & 8 - Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth National Park is our next destination. We will be staying at the Institute Hostel in their new cottages. FB

Wake up very early to be the first ones with the animals in the morning. 0645 start. Back to the lodge for breakfast. Optional Nature walk before lunch. Afternoon boat trip on Kazinga Channel, where you will marvel at the animals coming for their afternoon drink and the hundreds of birds. Overnight FB

Another early morning game drive to view afresh the animals in the park and the many crater lakes in the peninsula. Overnight FB.
Days 9 & 10 - Kibale
- Kibale Forest is our next stop. We will stay at Rwenzori View Guest House in Fort Portal tonight, FB.

We will today explore Bigodi Swamps the original chimp trekking area in Kibale Forest. Overnight at Rwenzori View Guest House, FB.
Days 11, 12 & 13 - Murchison Falls
– Murchison Falls National Park is our next stop. Today is a long day driving. We will stay on the southside of the River at the Paraa Rest Camp.

Early wake up. Ready to cross the river by 0700 to get the best out of our game drive. Back to the camp for breakfast. Afternoon boat ride to the bottom of the Falls. Overnight Paraa Rest Camp.

You saw the magnificent falls at the bottom yesterday, today you will see it from the top. Marvel in this eighth wonder of the world where the river Nile squeezes itself through 7 metres. Overnight Paraa Rest Camp.
Day 14,15 & 16 - Kampala, Jinja
Back to Kampala and the Legendary Speke Hotel. Overnight on BB.

We have seen the bottom of the Nile as well as the top of the Nile, now why not see the Source of the Nile in Jinja. An added value is the Bujagali Falls. We will overnight in Jinja Nile Resort, BB

– Today you have the option of either rafting or bungee jumping or quad biking. This is at your own cost. Or just relax overlooking the Nile at Jinja Nile Resort, BB.
Day 17
Back to Kampala, lunch in Kampala and transfer to your evening flight.
