6 Days Camping Safari at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve

1) SUMMARY

The Maasai Mara's 320 square kilometers of open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers create an eco-system which supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species. The western border of the park is the spectacular Siria Escarpment, and together with the acacia dotted plains, creates scenery of stunning beauty. Lions are found in abundance throughout the park, as are elephant, giraffe, a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and if lucky, you may also get to see rhinos. This safari consists of quality accommodation and a superb opportunity for experiencing an adventurous journey across the heart of kenya and viewing the game animals and in some cases all of the 'big five' It truly promises to be an exciting and unforgettable experience.

2) DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1; Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries enroute, arriving to the Pink Lake often referred so due to it's Great masses of Flamingos. After lunch proceed for game drive in the Park with numerous Animals. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 2; Depart Lake Nakuru for lake Baringo arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure ( optional boat rides). Dinner and overnight at Campsite.
Day 3; Breakfast at campsite and depart for lake Bogoria where there is hot Geysers and Flamingos, Afterwards proceed to lake Naivasha arriving for lunch at Fisherman's Camp. Afternoon at leisure (optional boat rides). Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 4; Morning game drive, Watch and photograph Birds, breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara, Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 5; Full day in Maasai Mara. Morning and afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 6; Pre-breakfast game drive. Return to campsite for breakfast. After breakfast break up the camp and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
